Café at Marla is more than a café—it’s a dynamic space in Berlin where specialty coffee, Mexican-Greek fusion food, music events, and a concept store come together. When we began this project, Café at Marla had no social media  identity. Our goal was to create a brand that reflected their unique essence and the role they play in their community. Together, we developed a visual language that feels true to who they are.
Color Palette 

The color palette for Café at Marla was inspired by the handcrafted azulejos behind the coffee machine, designed by a local artist. These tiles set the tone for the space, blending deep blues, warm golds, and earthy reds—colors that reflect both the rich heritage of traditional craftsmanship and the raw, creative energy of Berlin’s underground music scene. By drawing from this authentic backdrop, we created a visual identity that feels organic, bold, and deeply connected to the café’s atmosphere.

The Strategy

Our mission was to create a visual narrative that embodied what makes Café at Marla special. It wasn’t just about their coffee or food—it was about the lively weekend music events, the thoughtfully selected items in their concept store, and the welcoming atmosphere that has made it a favorite spot in Berlin. 
The Process

To bring this vision to life, we focused on:
Developing a consistent visual style that represents Café at Marla’s identity.
Highlighting their Mexican-Greek fusion food and specialty coffee.
Reflecting the energy of their weekend music events.
Emphasizing the unique items available in their concept store.


The Result

Through this collaboration, Café at Marla went from having no digital presence to establishing a distinct and cohesive brand identity. The visuals we created reflect their unique blend of Mexican-Greek fusion cuisine, specialty coffee, and cultural events, setting them apart in Berlin’s bustling café scene.

 Today, Café at Marla isn’t just a café—it’s a destination. The brand we crafted has helped them connect with their community, attract new visitors, and solidify their place as a cultural hub in Berlin. It’s a space where food, music, and culture come together, and the visuals now reflect that vibrant reality. 

It speaks to their diverse audience—locals seeking a cozy spot for coffee, food enthusiasts curious about their fusion dishes, and music lovers drawn to their weekend events.
Using Reels to Connect with the Community
To build a strong community around Café at Marla, we made Instagram Reels a key part of our storytelling. These short, engaging videos let us showcase the café’s unique style, the energy of its underground music scene, and, of course, the food that brings people together.
